Methodist Day School is a hidden gem. I was fortunate enough to hear about the preschool through my best friend. Sending your toddler to preschool is a huge milestone. My husband and I want our son, William, to have the best experience during these developmental years. MDS is home away from home that instills a true passion for each student’s journey. The nurturing environment has nourished my son with a creative curriculum that he will carry throughout his life.
The Director, Alicia Silvin, William’s teacher, Ms. Margie and the other incredible teachers and Pastors, are amongst the hardest, most driven and dedicated leaders I know.
Together each one has created perhaps the finest preschool in Naples. The faculty don’t just care, they love each child. MDS is a very, very special school, a true gift for each child. Methodist Day School holds a very special place in our hearts and I am forever grateful.

We love this school! MDS was a second home to my son for 3 years and now my daughter attends Miss Margie’s 2 year old class. MDS is one of the original pre schools in Naples. The location is in the nicest part of town, providing safe surroundings for the children. I first fell in love with this school when I saw the playground. It’s a natural space with real mulch and beautiful luscious trees providing natural shade. This school is like a boutique school with one class room per grade capping students off so the classrooms are not too big. My kids always run into school excited and leave happy. The religious aspect is child centered and appropriate for their ages. Miss Alicia the head of school is energetic, friendly, and has great communication. The kids love her! You will feel and see the difference of this school as soon as you walk in. It gave me warmest feeling right away and I have since recommended this school to many, many families that feel the same way.
