Get To Know Us
First Naples is the earliest established congregation in Naples. We've had the pleasure of welcoming worshipers from all walks of life since 1891. Whether you're just passing through the area or looking for a church home, we welcome you to First Naples!
Along with being the first church in Naples, we also have the first preschool in Naples. Our Methodist Day School Preschool & VPK has been providing quality care and education to young children within a Christian environment since 1961.
First United Methodist Church is in the News Again!
First Naples made the front page of the Naples Daily News! Please read the attached article that discusses how our church used technology to worship and connect during the pandemic, but discovered some long-term benefits.

Fill The Table Initiative
The Florida United Methodist Conference has created the "Fill The Table" initiative to provide 3,000,000 meals for those in need by September of 2021. Since the initiative's start in July, our congregation's food and financial donations have created over 4,000 meals for people who receive food from Grace Place and St. Matthew's House food pantries! Meal Packing Ministry
We have also partnered with Meals of Hope to pack food for those in need in participation with the conference's Fill The Table initiative. We are packing 180 bags weekly creating 5,040 meals for hungry families in our community. Since the meal packing project's start in December of 2020, we have created over 290,000 meals for those receiving food from a Meals of Hope pantry! Packing is easy and fun! We finish in 1.5 hours and have a max of 10 volunteers at a time to ensure social distancing. Masks are now optional, but gloves are required. Please contact Jaimie Dandridge at Admin@fumcnaples.org if you are interested in volunteering.
Card Ministry
Even during a pandemic, there are ways to serve and appreciate those in our community! Our congregation has written cards to 72 Naples police officers, 49 Naples firefighters, 16 Naples paramedics and EMTs and the homebound of our church.
Altar Flower Ministry
When our donated altar flowers are not claimed, they are donated to local organizations to spread joy and brighten the days of people who serve our community. We have donated to Neighborhood Health Clinic, NCH, Grace Place, Boys and Girls Club and more!
