Upcoming In-Person and Online Bible Studies

In-Person Bible Study November 25-December 16 Wednesdays, 10_30-11_30 am

Grow in faith this Advent season! Our In-person Bible study meets on Wednesdays, November 25- December 16, 10:30-11:30 am in Barton Hall. This class is presently FULL with attenders from our in-person Bible study group that met before the pandemic. Due to COVID safety restrictions, we are limited to ten people for gatherings at the church, other than worship. However, we are taking names for the waiting list, in case someone drops out, AND if we have at least 4 new names, we will start a second group that will need to choose a different day or time that works out for them to meet- possibly evenings. This Bible study will be facilitated by Wendy McKee and is based on the Because of Bethlehem: Love is Born, Hope is Here book and videos by Max Lucado.

Our Online Study meets on Wednesday evenings from December 2-23, 6:30-7:30 pm on Zoom. This is the Advent series that will be preached on Sunday mornings during Advent, so having the book and participating in the class with the videos, will supplement what you learn on Sunday mornings! This study will be facilitated by Pastor Nancy and Vanessa Fletcher and is based on the book and video Incarnation: Rediscovering the Significance of Christmas by Adam Hamilton. If you would like to join the in-person and/or online Bible studies or would like more information, call the church office and leave a voicemail at (239) 262-1033 or email Vanessa Fletcher at discipleship@fumcnaples.org.

Get To Know Us

First Naples is the earliest established congregation in Naples. We've had the pleasure of welcoming worshipers from all walks of life since 1891. Whether you're just passing through the area or looking for a church home, we welcome you to First Naples!

Along with being the first church in Naples, we also have the first preschool in Naples. Our Methodist Day School Preschool & VPK has been providing quality care and education to young children within a Christian environment since 1961.

Fill The Table Initiative

Fill The Table artwork

The Florida United Methodist Conference has created the "Fill The Table" initiative to provide 3,000,000 meals for those in need by September of 2021. We are going to be a part of this! We have already supported Grace Place and St. Matthew's House in the past through food and financial donations. We are eager to increase our support during this pandemic by stocking their food pantries. Click HERE to download the list of most needed food pantry items. Click HERE to give online.
